My Father died in September of 2003. He was a man that all who knew him loved. He may not have been the best person(but lets face it, who is?), but he was the best Father any son could wish for. Anyone who was ever in need of anything, they could always rely on my dad to come through for them. I remember my dad had always wanted a boat, and he was saving up for one, then my aunt got into a divorce and needed a lawyer. My dad selflessly gave the money to my aunt so she could afford a lawyer. I must admit I was spoiled by him because he just couldn't say no to his kids. He was so full of love and life. He could charm you into a friendship so easly, anyone who was around him instantly fell under his spell. He was the life of the party. There is so much good to say about him, but I cannot continue, so I'll have to make this last portion short.
My dad was an alcoholic, and in the end, it killed him. I ask any of you or someone you love is an alcoholic please seek help, dont let your loved ones see you suffer the fate I had to witness. Don't say it wont happen to me, because thats what i thought about my dad. "It cant happen to him, I'm only 16" well it did. I'm another year older and I still relive the day he died every day. Get help, please.
